    Far from the same size.

    We ordered size 3 for our son. His feet are wide, I was hoping that being able to redesign the clasp at the top would help. The shoes that arrived were over an inch too short. We have a foot gauge at home to keep track of children's height. I put a boot in it, it was a size 2 not a size 3 even though it says size 3. And the width was maybe 3/4 of a "normal" shoe. My poor kid couldn't even put his foot in the shoe!

    The perfect summer show

    The perfect summer shoe for casual and church wear. This is my favorite brand because they have a velcro foot closure option which is perfect for my little one.

    MUCH BETTER THAN SAN SANS!

    MUCH better than San Sans! I am addicted! I bought these in light blue for my son who wears a baby size 3 in another shoe. I increased these to a size 4 based on the reviews and they are perfect so be sure to rate a mom! Velcro on the top is a game changer. Both buckles are also adjustable. My son didn't mind at all and it took me maybe 30 seconds to put them on while it takes me a few minutes to buckle the Sun Sans - I will never buy a pair of these sandals again now haha, Footmates are…

    Great sandals for active kids!

    LOVE this sandal! My grandson has very wide feet and we were able to adjust them perfectly for him! I also like that his foot is well pinched so the foot doesn't slip. He is 18 months old and we will definitely be buying more other colors. I also bought a similar style of Footmates for my 4 year old granddaughter and they are lovely too!

    Good quality: my rating

    They are of excellent quality. However, the strap on the top of the foot hits my child's ankle causing redness and irritation. The strap doesn't sit on the arch of the foot like it should.

    We buy them year after year! We love that there is a velcro closure instead of an actual buckle. They hold up so well that we were able to pass them on.

    The Velcro broke after wearing it for 2 weeks

    Nice sandals. I purchased these for my grandson. As with all Tide sandals, they are perfect. I love that the ankle strap is Velcro.. Too bad the velcro broke after 2 weeks of wearing. Tried to replace, nothing was offered.

    BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!

    Bought these for my one year old granddaughter who is small for her age and has narrow feet. She cannot wear most shoes because her feet are very narrow, especially sandals. Well, thank goodness for FOOTmates! They were made for her little feet! It is a size 4 but I ordered a size 5 which fits well in a small room.     love these sandals!

    These are the best sandals! We always fought with San Sans for my son. His foot is not wide but thicker, so the top strap always cuts into the leg, even at the last hole. However, these are perfect! They fit and he has plenty of room in them. The Velcro is semi-adjustable for a better fit. I love these shoes!

    Our favorite velcro sandals are a game changer! I used to buy Sun San sandals but not anymore since Footmates started selling them. The sole is more flexible and the leather is softer. We love it! These are beautiful classic sandals that hold up very well!

    Cute and durable - my new review

    They did such a good job with my exuberant toddler! This is my second summer order. You can put them on and take them off yourself thanks to a practical Velcro fastener. And they give her good support. They also go with everything and look so cute. love love love!
