I am 5 ' 11' and 31' is not too long. That was actually my biggest concern. In fact I consider it a perfect fit for my height to use with no bending. For those that bent this I am a really surprised. I don't see anyway to bend this while using it as a shoehorn. I would say it is as thick a piece of metal used in the shorter shoe horns like you may have seen being used at a shoe store. One of the best things I've ever bought. I am older and have a hard time bending down to put on my shoes. This shoe horn is the right length and does not bend out of shape like those spring shoe horns with long handles.The shoe horn is very strong.

My husband has bad knees, and getting shoes on can be a struggle. These long shoe horns make it so easy, as he can stand and just slip them on. This shoe horn is HUGE. I needed one for my new boots as I didn't want to crush the heels in and this has definitely works. It seems to be of a high quality steel and despite the postal service somehow bending it a tiny bit near the top (which actually has made it a little easier to use possibly) I have no doubts about it's ability to last. I hope never to have to purchase another, but if I ever do it would definitely be another one of these.

This shoe horn bends every time it is used. I bought one about a year ago from amazon that was black and love it. but this one bends so easy. not happy with it.

Being physically unable to bend over too much, I have struggled to find a long shoe horn. I have tried others made of plastic and sooner or later they crack. This one is perfect. Being stainless steel it will last forever and its length assures ease of use. Worth the extra few bucks to get one of this quality and never have to buy another.

Best shoe horn ever owned, heel end wider than the shorter shoe horns I own. Easy to use, would definitely recommend this to anyone.

While this shoe horn is the perfect length, it bent quickly. I've been using shoe horns for years and have never had this happen. It's frustrating that this has happened NOW when an injury 1) makes it hard for me to bend my knee and 2) makes my foot swell so that I need more assistance than ever in putting my shoe on.
