Description of πŸ”§ Ratcheting Leveling Caster FOOTMASTER GDR 60F

Patent protected anti-vibration axles, ratcheting mechanisms and hardened steel raceway sleeve. Cast aluminum body with a powder coat finish in ivory or black. Custom colors are available for the complete caster. 3 different manufacture drawings available upon request to FootMaster. GD/SGDN models feature manual thumb wheel and/or nut for open-ended wrench. GDR models feature a built-in ratcheting system. User has up to 5/8" of leveling adjustment depending on model. This caster comes standard with a non-marking, "no smell" NBR rubber pad and a nylon 6 wheel. Optional urethane pad and urethane on aluminum wheel is available.

Makes moving a 300lb bench like a batta! The ratcheting mechanism is very cool. Models

I thought it wouldn't suit my needs but I was dead wrong. I was building a large workbench and wanted to use traditional casters, but as I needed a stable platform for routing, sanding and finishing wood projects I needed the stability of a rubber pad but still mobility in tight ass! The ratchet is very cool! Me think if i ever have big heavy benches that need to be moved frequently this won't be a problem.

Pros
  • GD/SGDN are equipped with a hand wheel and/or a spanner nut. DDR models are equipped with an integrated ratchet system. Depending on the model, up to 5/8 inch level adjustment is available to the user.

Great product, works well with reels

These are the best casters for heavy loads. I installed six casters on a 6ft x 12ft center island workbench. Fully loaded with tools and woodworking supplies, the island weighs over a thousand pounds and still rolls effortlessly across the workshop's concrete floor. Once the pads are on the ground, the ratchet feature allows me to level and stabilize the entire island so I can use it as an outrigger for all the tools around the shop. Good product. I now buy more tools to install in my workshop…

worth your money!

At first I thought they were expensive but after receiving them I understand why. The frame of this roller is a sophisticated one-piece casting. The wheels are small, but they roll smoothly when attached to the legs of our pool table. Our home is small and we wanted to be able to move the pool table if needed to make room for other activities in the room. Our table is a slate table with a solid wood frame. When the casters are set to caster mode, the table can also be easily moved by one…
