This rug works as advertised! I wanted a rug that would help clean dirty shoes and paws, but wouldn't get moldy and stay wet all the time sitting on our outdoor porch (as most Virginia and Maryland homes seem to do). After trying many options for front (main) floor mats, I tried this one and ended up not being disappointed. Our usage is Landscape, New England, ie snow, ice, sand. Not an extreme amount of dirt.
