Well built, my bird just hates it.

My cockatiel loves millet. Bought to contain the clutter. He won't go with him. It looks well built and the safety latch is a bonus, he just hates it.

Good product, best feeding and watering accessories

This is a good product but I bought it for my finch. She likes to carry treats in a bowl of water. But she won't eat it in it? Maybe I could "wait and see", but I didn't dare. She loves her treats. Is it suitable for large birds?

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Easy maintenance

However, it's good if you don't have parrots but do have large birds

The product is good if you have large birds. But I bought it and I have parrots and one morning I woke up and one of my little birds was stuck in it. I was very scared so please be careful, don't buy if you have parrots

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Very easy to assemble

Very simple easy to assemble playpen. The only minor issue was there were a few pieces of wood on the pole piece which almost gave me a piece and could have hurt my bird. Again, this was a minor issue that didn't affect the overall product, which I think is pretty good overall.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Close the latch after placing the treat inside.

At first we really liked it, as did our two parrots. But be careful 😟 there is a latch that you have to close after you put the millet in (or whatever you choose), the one I put in today was longer than the toy so I didn't close it . I was out for about two hours and when I got home I found my parrot pup stuck lifeless in it. Such a sad sad day. Just remember to close the latch.😞

Great way to cage millet

I used to have fixtures to secure millet to the cage wall and invariably husks and fallen seeds ended up on the floor as well as the bottom of the cage. Cell. The birds also happily nibbled on anything I attached to the millet as long as it wasn't metal. With this device I can put the millet in the middle of the cage and the excess will fall on the floor. It also retains millet even when eaten in large quantities. A great idea!

NOT FOR PARROTS! in Birds

be careful, a parrot can get stuck in it! I really liked this feeder when I hung it horizontally from a wire at the bottom of the cage. My parrot picked up the feeder while he was at the bottom of the cage. BUT I have upgraded to a tall cage to house another parrot. Then I hung this feeder vertically (as if to be placed) on the side of the cage and near the perches. My parrots climbed on it and ate millet. Yesterday I couldn't see my new bird until I looked closely and he was lying upside down,
