Transmission filters and accessories need updating

This part is high quality and fixed my leaky OEM plug. On 4WD models, it's easier to unbolt the front drive shaft for a one-time installation as the tee makes it longer. It took me 10 minutes to install, now the cork will not rot in the future and will stay in the hole when drained.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Appearance

Worth the money and saves time

Perfect for my 2006 F-350 HFCM. The slightly corroded plug has been replaced, and you don't have to dive into a bucket of spilled fuel to find the plug (or the 6mm hex bit) when you inevitably drop it. O-ring prevents dripping. Brass does not corrode like a standard metal connector.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Fine

The original fork was so destroyed that it was not possible.

The original connector was so damaged that it could no longer be screwed into the housing. When I started installing this new connector I figured I would have to remove the front gear box. But no, that wasn't necessary. This new plug is sealed up and tight!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Solid brass, not cheap cast iron or aluminum like factory parts!

Ford 07, 6.0 4x4 diesel engines have VERY LITTLE space to remove the drain plug to remove water from the fuel. This solid brass replacement solves that problem and you don't need an allen wrench to screw it in and out. (Just cut off the end of the T-holder and it will loosen the driveshaft easily).

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Extremely easy and inexpensive repair/upgrade!

Wow, what a simple product that saves time and money! After speaking to a friend who had to take the entire fuel filter off to drill out a blown spark plug, I invested a few bucks to make sure I wasn't having the same problem. My old fork was corroded inside and it was only a matter of time before I had to do what my buddy did. The knurling means that no tools are required and the water can be drained in seconds. I highly recommend this simple fix to all 6.0 owners!

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Out of style

This is a much needed upgrade/replacement

This is a genuine Ford refurbished part. During my last scheduled fuel filter service I noticed how loose the original plug was, normally difficult to remove with an allen wrench , and in fact it wouldn't even screw back in as corrosion had eroded the threads. I'm lucky it didn't fall on the street. This plug is exactly what this system needed, it's a heavy duty brass plug with a modification to prevent it from falling out when draining and they added a large external surface area for easy…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Good but not great
