After I put it to the test, I am extremely pleased with this product. It is a perfect fit for my car ashtray and provides reliable lighting for my cigarettes. The element heats up quickly and can handle multiple uses without burning out. The durable construction assures me that this will last for a long time.

Instructions were rather vague. Turn on my 2006 Escape by dropping the glove box. Just push the sides up back and it falls out of the way. Then press on the sides of the old socket, one side at a time, and slide it out. Install the new outlet by pressing on the side and pulling it into place. First connect the wires. Works perfectly, as does the cigarette lighter.

As my 2020 F150 does not have a coin holder I bought it to use as a coin holder. It comes with a pair of different sized rubber rings to fit the cup holder. It has a spring-loaded lid that stays firmly closed. It also comes with a cigarette lighter and socket if you want to remove and install one of the 12V sockets there. It fits my console very well and I am very happy with it. I didn't care that it was a bit expensive. I wanted it and I'm glad I bought it.
