Missing best seal in sensors

This part is missing the seal on the underside of the connector. The product photos show a gasket but it is not as shown in my photo. These contacts quickly rust and become dirty.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Blank

Good value Best value for coolant temp

When I tried to install the part it wouldn't start spinning. I took a closer look and noticed that the beginning of the thread wasn't cut all the way through. I ran it with a file and was able to run and fold the part. When setting the temp the sensor worked.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Let's see how long

The sensor didn't show the temperature, so this part is mostly to blame. Installed but the sensor still doesn't work. Then I thought maybe my thermostat was defective. Proceeding with this repair, I removed this sensor and found that one of the connectors was pushed into the unit when I inserted the connector. Got a replacement and worked fine but at the same time this whole sequence resulted in replacing the water pump, thermostat and timing chain cover gasket. Everything is tight and dry now,

Pros
  • lasts Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 1995 Ford 5.0L

My 1995 5.0 Injected V8 engine powering my F-150 would not start and ran non-stop and "sprayed" after it warmed up. It starts right up and idles/runs very cold but if you turn it off after warming up it's not great if you can start it at all. I think I finally traced it back as this sensor. I believe it has a similar function to a throttle body on a naturally aspirated engine. If the sensor is not working properly, the CPU will assume the engine is cold and will not properly fuel an already…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
