Worth Every Penny! for my opinion

As a hesitant buyer, I was not sure if this product would be worth the investment, but after using it for a while, I found that it exceeded my expectations. It is durable and sturdy, perfect for industrial and scientific purposes. The holder provides a secure and strong grip on the electrode, making it easy to handle and work with. Although it is on the pricier side, the quality and performance make it worth every penny.

Pros
  • Durable, sturdy, secure grip
Cons
  • Expensive

Good rod holder in arc welders

holds the rod much better than spring clip rod holder, looks good workmanship and Forney is a well known welding consumables company.

Pros

Hold-down device suitable for welding machines

I have been using hold-down devices for many years. The new boys were amused by this so I ordered a few more for them to try. Today my old Stinger died and I installed Forney, not very well. The 3/32 rod gets stuck in the handle, the 1/8 and 5/32 rod is not released when turning the handle, it must be pulled out. I am ashamed that I gave them away. The only thing I like is the feel of the grip, a little less chunky than my old one.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
