This is what you would expect for the money. I've had it on my dog's leash for a few months and it hasn't shown any signs of fading etc. It also seems more than strong enough to handle my dog (85 pounds and strong). Only gave 3 stars because it's not that easy to open. The clasp hangs a bit and doesn't slip so easily. Next time I'll try to find something to try before I buy.
