This food is amazing. Finally there is an alternative to bad diet recipes for cats with kidney problems. The cats love it. It is also a very good company that believes in their products and great customer service. It's expensive but worth it if our cats can live longer and better. We have 1 cat on kidney feeds both dry and wet and another on weight loss/metabolism and both are doing great! Thank you!

Our cats had kidney failure and we still don't know why. The vet told us to say goodbye and recommended a vet to put her to bed at the right time. A few months later the cat is still alive; not fully recovered but much better. We believe this food played a large role in keeping her alive until her body had a chance to partially recover. It smells rather unpleasant for us, but the kitten likes it very much. So glad it was available when we needed it.

There aren't many over-the-counter food options for cats with impaired kidney function. My cat eats prescription food, but she usually only eats half of what she's given. Dry food makes him diabetic so I limit myself to wet food. He loves this stuff. He eats a whopping 3.5 ounces and doesn't seem to get tired of it.
