We bought this in place of a cable box for a 55" TV on the outside (covered) deck. We installed an antenna on the north side of the house (facing the TV towers 30-60 miles away). Received 38 stations - all majors and their substations. We live 30 miles south of Cincinnati and receive stations from Middleton and Dayton, Ohio. For 14 $95 THIS is amazing! Great buy.

There are other antennas at a higher price but with more reviews. I have never bought an antenna before and decided to try this one. I figured if it turned out to be a mistake I might return it. I am very happy with my purchase. I just tuned it and viola and got 52 channels without using an amp. My antenna isn't even near the window. Although it's on the 2nd floor. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! We recommend!

Most of the antennas I'm trying to pick up (main networks) are 29 miles away (according to the NIC). This antenna with the amplifier attached will barely pick up antennas 25 miles away (they sometimes turn off) and will pick up one of the following channels if we hold the antenna up in the middle of the room.
