Good connections. The heat shrink tubing on them has an adhesive that melts with whatever you press to create a better seal. It also cures fairly well to make the connector more durable so you can grab it and pull it apart when you want to unplug the wires. Works great for my small electrical projects.

This is truly awful. You don't have enough metal to make a good crimp. Also, the heat shrink tubing is torn in half before the ends reach the wire. This completely defeats the purpose of purchasing shrink clamps. I should have heeded other reviews' warnings, but I couldn't find any other round heatshrink connectors for 18 gauge cable and was a bit desperate. So I decided to take a chance. Waste of money and a big disappointment.

Like others my wires are pulled straight out of these. The crimp barrel is the wrong size and does not crimp the smaller wires far enough for this connector. This is not a problem. The only way to get them to work is to use a crimping tool designed for bare terminals. The problem is that using this type will eventually break through the cheap insulation. Make the whole point of it useless. In short, don't waste your time/money on it. Either use regular insulating connectors and install your own
