The speed ring hasn't been well described in terms of size and fit, but most of these devices don't live up to the bill. It fits, fits perfectly and seems sturdy enough. Delivered as promised.

Works exactly as intended. Great Bowens speedring for my flashpoints. Enough attachment points to attach fiberglass rods to various softbox and vanity ware accessories.

Purchased for multiple softboxes. It's well made, I think it will last for years and if not I will change my rating if I keep using it. I use the equipment a lot and shoot about 180 days a year. I will also do the test. So far it's been great!

I do not recommend this stuff to anyone, I will not use it during a photo shoot, if I put it too close, the customer may fall off the stand. The S-type bracket could not be connected to this speed ring adapter. I have two S-type brackets and none of them work.

. As with the other rings I had to spend 1 hour drilling holes in this ring to make it easier to install the rods on my old softboxes are a little bigger than just a little. I started with a dremel tool and a sanding attachment but went on to a larger bit and drilled through it then sanded it down to make it smoother with the dremel, now it fits easily and that's it but that's it a problem not unlike other brands. 5pm for that plus 1 hour of your time.
