Good design and works well

Camera: Sony A6000 Arrived on time and was better than I expected. The thumb grip is all metal and has a small magnet and a notch that holds the hand down. Once connected there is almost no noticeable wobble from the crank, you really have to look for it. I don't have any cons as it works exactly as you would expect, but note that while it makes the camera easier to hold, it's not a good substitute for a full grip. Not as good as Lensmate

I have this for my A6500 and the thumb grip fits (even with the small rig cage). I also have a Lensmate thumb grip and prefer the Lensmate. The Lensmate sits almost flush with the top of the camera body and feels more durable in use. In contrast, Fotodiox is not flush. It has a cold shoe on top and the thumb rest protrudes slightly from the top of the camera body. Also, the Fotodiox thumb-joint grip has some play, so you don't get the same confidence as you did with the Lensmate. I ended up…

A good useful accessory for your camera.

The a6000 impresses with its compact design. However, with longer shots, this is not so convenient and accurate. I bought a battery grip to solve this problem. I also bought this thumb grip. With the additional weight of 2 rechargeable batteries and a battery grip, Fotodiox ensures stability, especially during downtimes.
