I bought wooden hooks. They look great and are very easy to put on. I've used a few of these hooks to hang the baskets I keep my hair straightener and other heavy stuff in on my bathroom wall (ceramic tile) and they work great. sweater in her closet (wood) and works great.

The wood looks nice but the transparent part is fully visible from the other side of the room. Don't even use them anymore as they can hardly hold anything without falling off. When I finally got them off the wall for good, one of them was peeling off layers of paint :( The only one with any kind of adhesion lol

After using them for a while I look back at the reviews and just shake my head. How do people give them a bad rating because they think they are temporary and have settled in too well? They are also advertised. I use them on my closet door which has a textured surface (not smooth) to hang hats on. I wiped the surface with alcohol and carefully glued the hooks in place. Glued immediately and you can see the contact with the surface through the clear base. I love how smooth and rounded the wooden
