The cold air conditioner is back!

Perfect fit! This is a 2000 Honda Odyssey EX. For some reason this van lost all of its freon. I didn't know where the system was leaking. So I added Freon to the system and noticed that it started flowing out of the low pressure valve. So I decided to buy these valves and caps. I replaced both the low pressure and high pressure valves with a new cap. They solved my leak problem. Now my air conditioner works great. After 16 years of minivan use, it's cold enough here in Mexico. I live in a…

Ideal. Two (each) caps of each type up to .

Perfect. Two (each) caps of each type for different size valves. You probably only need one red and one blue to match your valve type. I was mistakenly expecting two caps of the same color, not knowing that there are different types of valves that require different size caps. It worked well as one set fitted my 96 valve Accord R134. In addition, it contained two internal valve stems and provided two stem sizes. A pair was an exact replacement for the '96 Honda Accord. Uses Mastercool (81490)…

2006 HONDA Civic leaking valve. Saved me a trip to the store.

I noticed my 2006 Honda Civic was leaking from underneath (I noticed when I opened the valve cover and heard a rapid hiss). My A/C wasn't cooling at low speeds and the gauge was showing near or near overcharging. I think because of overfilling with freon or air (empty cylinder). I basically removed the underside (with the big valve from the kit) with a long valve removal tool (the bike valve tool is too short). I also made a high pressure side just in case (thin valve included - I think but…

Worked on a 2006 Toyota 4Runner with low sidewalls

Very good set of valve cores. The lower valve core on my 2006 Toyota 4Runner was leaking so I bought this kit to replace it. Granted, before that you could take all my knowledge of car air conditioning repairs and stick it in a ladybug's belly button, but I was confident that one of the valve core sizes in this kit would fit, so I rolled the dice and bought it. My lower valve core turned out to be a "JRA" style fitting (the thicker cores are shown in the picture). Cores of this size are also…
