Four Seasons 58947 Compressor Clutch Review

The A/C compressor appears to be of good quality and was pre-filled with 3 ounces of oil. Where do I start. This compressor seemed to fail immediately. Everything in my 2001 GMC Jimmy was replaced with a new one. I started from scratch, new evaporator, condenser, dryer and piping. This is a great replacement. It's the cheapest and the same compressor as over $200 + various # parts. I checked and found no difference. What convinced me to try this was that the weight was the same as the others. (It comes with 2 o-rings for the top hose connector. Pull out the old one. I didn't have locking ring pliers and they should be small. I sharpened my needle nose pliers and used a flat head jewelry screwdriver to gently loosen the o-ring. Slow but it worked.
