Review on Four Seasons 58947 Compressor Clutch by Josh Boii

The A/C compressor appears to be of good quality and was pre-filled with 3 ounces of oil. Alcohol and compressed air (according to my GM factory service manual for my 2000 GMC Jimmy), then I put 4.5 ounces of PAG 150 in the compressor and installed it. After installation, I rotated the compressor clutch 20 times (clockwise) to circulate the oil. Once the oil was pumped I added refrigerant and the compressor was fine. I drove for 15 minutes and when I got home I turned off the A/C and when the compressor clutch disengaged it was too close and rubbing on the compressor pulley and I had to use my clutch removal tool to restore the clutch to factory specs. After that everything was fine and the air conditioning blows nice and cold. I am writing a 3 star review for a compressor with an incorrectly installed manufacturer's clutch. R
