Review on Four Seasons 58947 Compressor Clutch by Tom Lawson

Where do I start. This compressor seemed to fail immediately. Everything in my 2001 GMC Jimmy was replaced with a new one. I started from scratch, new evaporator, condenser, dryer and piping. Pulled the vacuum like holding. Then they put it in the fridge, I added it for the first time and after a week it leaked. When the video posts behind the compressor body meet the rear body to the front body (coupling) there is an internal seal/O-ring. There was compressor oil in my bracket, which is bolted to the compressor. On the video, it gurgles constantly from this seal ex works. I missed my return video but Amazon live chat took care of the return. Sad because I wanted that compressor from Texas. Four Seasons is owned by Stand Motor Products (called tech support before I found the issue myself). I ended up with an OEM Delphi compressor that has worked so well with Delphi so far. It appeared to be a quality control issue, just time and money folks.
