Leaky and disappointing accumulator hose

According to my experience, this automotive replacement part has been a letdown. Despite being a supposedly reliable brand, this product just did not hold up. While it might have been easy to install, it has been leaking ever since.

Hope everything is fine inside.

Well made on the outside EXCEPT - the pipe from the dehumidifier to the air conditioner was on the union end (6 inches). I managed to bend it into a near perfect shape without bending or damaging anything. (2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4.7L engine.)

noticeably weaker on the expansion valve side than the OEM part, causing the leak

The part was of poor quality, the metal tubing was *too* stiff overall (ie not flexible enough) compared to the OEM part and fit fairly loosely (too easily) in the expansion valve. After rebooting the system, I found a single system leak on that exact port. I will not buy again.
