Enhance Cooling Efficiency with Four Seasons/Trumark 35201 Blower Motor with Wheel Review

Fits perfectly on my old Honda Odyssey - although it did take me a few minutes to figure out how to properly fit the supplied side bracket - there is a 'tab' in "Slot b" Something where there are no instructions and markings that there is even a "Tab a" or "Slot b". But if you pull out your old fan you'll see the bracket and where it goes so you can figure it out.

Not an exact replacement, uses pigtail instead of socket, plastic instead of Honda steel block and no insulation to reduce noise. The real pain is in the videos on UTube showing a 30 second swap performed by an acrobat using magic articulation, close circuit camera and elf fairy dust. Using the Dremel flexible shaft tool with diamond wheel, removed the Phillips head screw (not the hex screw) to loosen the motor. My two cents!

Not much to say, works as intended. They're tricky to install, but Honda set it up that way. I was able to install this on my Odyssey 04 in about 20 minutes with no problems. It comes with a connector to connect to the wiring harness which I had to cut off as my machine connected directly to the fan having previously replaced it with another aftermarket fan that did not have the connector. The wires were long enough that I could cut the connector and connect something.

Not shown. I specifically wanted a model with a white squirrel cage (as shown in this review) that was an exact replacement for my Honda. I actually paid 7.00 more for this model. I received a black squirrel cell model. I had to change the connection, attachment, and the squirrel cage got shorter so it doesn't fit the hole like it should. Some reviewers have reported increased noise when using this model. But in my 2004 Honda Pilot it sounds just like the original. Works just like the original. I can't be happier. I replaced the fan (which was noisy for a while) after it finally stopped working. But the new motor didn't work either until I replaced the fan motor resistor. Apparently it's not uncommon for both to be replaced, so keep that in mind. Both the fan and resistor cost about $100 together and are fairly easy to install…

I specifically ordered a unit that looked OEM but didn't receive what was advertised. I usually trust four seasons but I think they're sold out as this unit says 'single engine'. What turned out had a metal case instead of plastic, a pigtail with a plug instead of a plug. The plastic body of the isolator cannot be attached to this body, so you have extra parts and the motor is noisier. I would return this if I had time to install it before the return window. This is a metal universal blower with an adapter for your fit. It is very powerful and works great in my 1999 Honda Accord app. I have an AC and it is very powerful when I first use it and it "breaks" after a few uses to around the OEM sound level correspond to.
