🧤 GI Type Leather Gloves by Fox Outdoor Products Review

Bought these to put on liners. Size 5. The right glove fits. The left glove is not suitable for use with liners because the thumb is too small. The relative size of the two is shown in the attached photos.

High quality leather suitable for work or business suit. I think they are better than the GI gloves I had. Turns out to be a size 6 (XL), but the fingers are too long on pinky and ring fingers. Order wool inserts in one size if you want to be warmer.

These are D3-A gloves. Much better than the cheap Rothco and other fakes that fall apart almost immediately and are nowhere near as good as the military ones. These Fox gloves are the premium version of the D3-A and better than the military gloves.

I gave these three stars because they are well constructed and of good quality. They outperform the Rothco D-3A, which I would give one star. However, the size is off. Size 5 is not suitable for glove liners. They fit as if size excludes the glove inserts. I ordered a size 6 to match the size 5 earbuds I usually wear. They must be oversized without a liner.

Gloves have a very tight fit; kept my hands very warm. However, my fingers are very swollen - like I have sausages on my fingers when I try to open the door or reach for the car keys. Excess skin around the fingertips is not very helpful. Still solid and durable craftsmanship! The original D3A didn't have this problem of fat fingers and extra skin; My old set of D3A gloves fit my fingers and held them very tight after they broke. EDIT: Upgraded to 4 stars. To be honest I LOVE these gloves…
