Description of Fox Run 4675 Bread Warmer

4.75 in, ideal for folded tortillas or small rolls. Made of beautiful terra cotta, keeping heat in. Use to keep bread, rolls, croissants, and more warm when serving. Heat the stone in the oven at 350 degrees, then place in bread basket. Great for family meals, avoid getting up during meals to warm more rolls.

It's okay, but not great.

I really like the concept of this rock warmer, but it doesn't work as well as I had hoped. It was fairly cheap, about $6. It's really easy to use and keeps bread/buns warmer for longer, but only about 15-20 minutes longer than if I hadn't used the heat stone at all. I even wrap the buns in some rocky napkins and try to seal in as much heat as possible. I will continue to use it because it is definitely better than nothing. I just want it to radiate enough heat to keep items warm while eating.

I may update this review as the first test wasn't that promising.

I read the product review before purchasing and there was a very brief description of how someone used it. There were no instructions included with the product itself. To try it out, I microwaved it right out of the box and tested it in a tortilla warmer. The heat didn't last long. Interestingly, does it need to be soaked in water before heating (by analogy with a candy bear)? I was looking forward to a nice solution to keep my tortillas warmer longer in my family dinner tortilla without having

Cuts into cubes much quicker and easier than even a good knife

I bought a Fox Run Stainless Steel Cleaver/Scraper a few years ago thinking it looked useful so I got it put in a drawer and forget about everything. about it until recently. I started experimenting with making pallets or homemade popsicles. Traditionally, palettes are usually made with fresh fruit, although some are made with cream. One of my favorite fruit palettes is the pineapple palette, which requires you to dice a fresh pineapple. The first few times I did it by hand with a good knife…
