Good for Carrots - Kitchen & Dining

It's ok, not very spicy, I end up smashing the cucumbers a bit for pickled slices for canning. You definitely want to use a cutting board because once it starts cutting, it's going to crash against the countertop.

  • Makes me angry

We love it for my 4 year old because he helped out.

We love it when my 4 year old son helps out in the kitchen. She can cook her own quesadillas on the stove (since the stove can be so weak it just melts the cheese) and then cut them into triangles. They are easy for little fingers to use and she loves to feel so grown up.

Great for little hands to help out in the kitchen

We're getting so much out of this cut. It is rather blunt at the edge, but still cuts very easily. We use it with my 4 year old son who loves to help in the kitchen. He uses it to cut potatoes, carrots and other hard fruits and vegetables. He takes great pride in his cooking and it's so nice to have a slicer that's safe for him. I wouldn't let it use it unattended although it really isn't sharp at all and I can't imagine how easily it can be injured, but still. It can be cleaned very well in…
