I bought this for a very low viscosity liquid and when drawn into the tube and removed from the liquid everything in the tube just flows out. I assume using it with thicker liquids like sauce would work, but I ended up buying something else. A little disappointed with the suction power.

The description says 'Heat Resistant Glass Tube' but does not state the actual temperature. When he arrived he said rated at 300 degrees. I don't trust what items I'm going to use in a 350 degree oven. I returned it and ordered another brand that is rated for 450 degrees for a comparable price.

I purchased the Fox Run Heat Resistant Glass Lapper because I needed a large 2 oz capacity. Yes, the glass tube is large enough for 2 ounces, but the squeeze bulb will draw in a maximum of 1.5 ounces of liquid no matter how hard I squeeze the bulb to get all the air out before sucking in the liquid. Need a bigger bulb. I am extremely disappointed.

I don't think I will blame the product for being defective because my child dropped it, but from the height of a child's hand on the tiled kitchen floor is this thing smashed thirty pieces. I thought Pyrex when I bought it, but it's thin, brittle glass, the kind you have to be careful not to break. So if you buy this, be careful not to drop it! Bought because I have a bad habit of ruining plastic tacks. I always grew up with glass and always forgot that plastic can't stand that much heat.
