Not very happy. at kitchen utensils & gadgets

To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. The handle is not very comfortable, boring. I can't get good slices, they are paper thin. I've had a few cheese slicers over the years and this one will probably sit at the back of the box until thrown away. I chose it for the looks, I wanted a one piece cheese slicer and I liked the looks but didn't like the end product.

Sad purchase :( at Cheese Tools

I always read reviews before I buy and hope everyone gives honest feedback on their personal experience. However, I bought this item because the reviews alike were mixed and the price was great - I'm very disappointed! The plane isn't sharp at all which makes it almost impossible to work in. I spent more time scraping cheeseballs out of the plane than enjoying my brunost!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is ok

Not suitable for people or cheese

This cheese slicer is cheaply made, poorly designed and a little dangerous. The angle of the cutting plane is barely perceptible, meaning it doesn't cut anything, just slides across the surface of the cheese. In fact, I've injured myself trying to make discs with this, and I consider myself fairly proficient with even more advanced tools common to humans, including knives and hot glue guns.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • For old
