It is big! Works but well

Looks good quality, has notches to keep hoses in place well, only thing I didn't notice was its size. Still worked fine on my mower, but be sure to read the dimensions!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some flaws

Larger than it looks

Used on a '66 Mustang between the fuel tank and pump. (Not the best place for this, FYI) But my setup is temporary while I'm working on the old gasoline. It's a lot bigger than it looks, about 2 inches in diameter. But otherwise a good filter.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Cheap thin plastic, best in filters

Very cheaply made. On installation and with minimal pressure on one of the entrances, cheap flimsy plastic broke. I suspect if you're lucky enough to get it installed it won't last long next to a running engine or if you move/tap it while working on other engine components.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Mid-Range Product - Parts

I've always thought of Fram as a low to mid-range product. The quality is ok, but like many mass-produced products around the world, you can source them from different countries if you order the same part. Not the worst, but not the best either. I used them because they are not "critical" in the application I'm using them for. The price was the motivator in this case.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Useless Features

Too big for the bike

I bought this filter for my dual purpose bike but it's huge and doesn't fit in the space available so I replaced the filter on my truck with it and he is ok works. This is better quality than the other ones I received. Made of flexible and durable plastic. If I need a filter for a big car, this option is ideal. Just make sure it's the right size for your fuel line.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Does not correspond to the picture in fuel filter

The filter that I received is not transparent as in the picture but matte. It's also rounder at the top and bottom, which is okay. And now it's made in Mexico instead of Israel, which is fine too. What's really important to me is that I wanted a clear filter so I can see the fuel and filter material inside. It's like looking through an oxidized headlight lens. You can barely see inside, but you can't see clearly enough to know how dirty the filter is getting. Although the overall quality seems…

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • piggy bank price

Please check the inner diameter of the hose before ordering

This filter arrived on time, good quality. but the end of each connector tab is so big that I had to file mine a bit to get the hose on it. It wasn't fun, but where I was I had to make it work. It was like this. I'm not sure if my hoses are so old that they are swollen or if the filter can be checked for the correct size. This filter is only suitable for 5/16 hoses and also does not come with clamps, which also caused problems. So it's a good filter, but there's what you need to get the job…

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
