The slider is weak! Not recommended.

I usually love Framar products but this one was really disappointing. The slider doesn't even cut, it just crumples the foil and the box almost falls apart after the first use. I spent so much tape (and TIME!) trying to get a good, clean cut that I finally gave up. It might have been to squeeze the dispenser, but I'm not trying to shell out another $50 for Balayage Bestie if this product should make a clean cut and not slow me down. While the film is good and does what it is supposed to do, I…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Really "non-sticky "

Well this film does what it says on the tin - it's not sticky - unfortunately it also makes it difficult to isolate the hair in the first place. Before you buy, think carefully about whether you want your balayage insulation to be non-stick. Plus, the wrap is as chunky as any grocery store wrapβ€”it takes a dexterous hand to keep cutting off chunks of the wrap.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Quality

Not 100% non-stick but better than cling film

Great product BUT not sticky. It doesn't stick to itself like cling film, but it generates static and easily wraps around your hands, attracting robots. I would say semi-adherent free. I love the cutting function.

.a hairdresser's best friend!

All in all an EXCELLENT product! A must for balayage! The film is light and does not stick! You can see your color grading which makes my job a lot easier and saves time too! Framar color brushes are also a MUST HAVE for balayage clients as well as regular foil highlights. Love, LOVE this product and this brand! :)

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Not suitable for everyone

Framar does it again! Must be!

I confess that when it came to balayage and coloring techniques I avoided film at all costs! Most of my color apps turned into a swearing session and a floor full of crumpled plastic wrap. Anyone who has used other brands knows this. I've fallen in love with all the other Framar products and after seeing the Funked Up movie I decided to give it another try. and BINGO! I'm officially converted! This is no ordinary film. DO NOT cling! No more struggling to get a clean piece on my client's head…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Will be added later

Hair dye PASS

This product did not impress me. I had a hard time getting him to cut open the plastic wrap. You should just clip from left to right using the slider. Then it will stick to the bleach. Really needs to be trimmed with scissors to make smaller pieces unless he's only using long hair.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Easy to apply hair dyes

I've seen them used in YouTube videos and I'm so glad I tried them. I am not a professional and very contradictory. It's a lot easier for me to use than foil strips and my daughter's hair turned out amazing!

Pros
  • Long lasting finish
Cons
  • Some difficulties
