This brush is really disappointing. When you use the direct air nozzle on your hair dryer (like most pros do), the bristles just start bending, twisting and melting. Right from the first use it started, it happened, and by the third use it was just a piece of shredded junk and unusable. DO NOT BUY! CHEAPLY MADE. I never want to waste my money. I had a $5 brush from Walmart for 4 years and decided to buy a nice one. Delivered 12 days ago. At first I thought the brush felt cheap and wasn't strong enough to comb my hair. However, after a while I realized that this was only because I was not used to such a light and gentle brush. My previous detangling brushes had stiffer plastic bristles that you can really feel, and this brush glides over it like butter. there is much less clean hair from it - which means less brittleness occurs. I definitely recommend trying it out, and take your time if you're not used to this type of brush.

I have the most irritating sensitive scalp. For example, breathe into my head and I will know because it hurts (not literally, but you get the idea). I'm an avid wet brush user and didn't really trust this brush, but I'm happy to report that I was wrong. This thing slides through my hair. I had 3 wet brushes and threw them all away. I am a regular customer and will be back for the black. The brush itself is smooth and soft. Very comfortable to hold while brushing my hair. In fact, I look forward to the shower to use the brush. My only complaint was that I was expecting a nude pale color and got a bright pink instead, but I like that.

All I can say is WOW, I love this brush. I have wavy hair of unnecessary length that is incredibly thick and gets tangled easily. You need to do a dry haircut, because it is impossible to comb a wet one. I hate combing my hair because it hurts so much and I end up pulling the hair out with the comb.
