Description of San Francisco Bay Coffee OneCup French Roast Dark Roast Compostable Pods, K-Cup Compatible for Keurig 2.0 (Packaging May Vary), 120 Count, Brown

FRENCH ROAST: We blend beans from Central & South America & roast until the flavor oils rise to the surface of the bean for a full-bodied, dark roast coffee with a smoky finish. KEURIG COMPATIBLE: Designed for use with K cup style single serve brewers including Keurig 2.0. SF Bay Coffee is not affiliated with Keurig Green Mountain. ECO-FRIENDLY, COMMERCIALLY COMPOSTABLE: OneCup pods, including the outer bag and one-way coffee valve, are made from plant-based materials and are certified fully commercially compostable by BPI. Packaging: Due to the current circumstances and material supplier constraints, the packaging may vary. The product ingredients, roast, amount of coffee, etc. have not changed and the product quality is the same. SF BAY COFFEE is a family owned, American made company with a rich tradition. Our reputation reflects on us as a family so if you're ever not happy with your purchase, call us at 1(800) 829-1300 and we'll make it right.

The attachment is too thick for the brewer to pierce

This coffee is indeed one of the best out there HOWEVER my Keurig brewer cannot pierce the attachment so I do not recommend this coffee can use at home. I need to take it to work and use it on one of the old types of brewers. This is very disappointing as I rarely have time for coffee at work. The top wasn't that thick. It's like thin cardboard, but it's very strong and my brewer just won't pierce it to brew coffee.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Negligible repairability

They know how to make coffee in San Francisco Bay.

San Francisco Bay knows how to make coffee. Most of us have been buying this brand from Costco for decades. Still the best deal on the market. And now, with pod coffee machines, San Francisco Bay continues its history of excellence in coffee taste, quality and flavor. The capsules are biodegradable, as is all of their packaging. I will continue to support this company for the quality, value and environmental commitment it lives by. Highest recommended company with integrity and sustainability…

Wasted coffee and frustrating mess to clean up

I am a long time customer of this brand, mainly French roast and breakfast mix. Recent orders of both have some broken cups; The paper peels off the plastic rim (not always, but often) throwing the coffee grounds into the mug and machine. Wasted coffee and a frustrating mess to clean up. Thoroughly cleaned machine with a two-step product purchased specifically for Keurig; without change. The "normal" k-cup never did. I contacted the company through their website a few weeks ago; heard nothing…

Stronger and darker than most. Almost a crack in the kcup.

Okay, at first I was a little hesitant about this tree hugging thing. But then I tried it and the fantastic molybdenum, it's an amazing cup of dark motor oil. Now if they would just add 3X caffeine, you'd have the best KCup shit on the planet. And friendly to tree huggers. Ba-ha-ha-ha-ha! I opened the sealed package and my whole house smelled like a small coffee field somewhere near a volcano in South America. I liked it very much. Oooh, this is strong stuff. I even smelled it an hour later…

Exactly the same coffee as previous KCups labels - One Note

I was hesitant to buy, wondering if it was the exact same coffee as the previous orange-brown label. (See image) It's the same coffee just a new K-Cup lid and the box is different too. A few important notes. There are ten packs in this box. Every packet I've received now has 12 instead of 10 as before. And two of the 12 K-cups weren't pierced by the coffee maker needle because the top lid was too loose. I add creamer before brewing and I end up with a nice cup of hot, diluted creamer. Also, for

Good coffee, variety and sustainable packaging

Just switched from another (more expensive) brand of K-Cup compostable coffee. This brand has more variety, which I like. Fog Chaser is very smooth and a little softer...good after dinner. The rest is darker and bolder...great for morning workouts! I really like the Italian "extra dark" roast. The espresso roast is great...haven't tried the french roast yet. Another review mentions the fact that the capsules come in packs of 10. Once you open the packaging, you must store it in an airtight…

GREAT coffee and the planet! love love love!

**BUY** BUY** STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND BUY IT** Seriously, the best coffee! I got a French roast but I've tried all the different mixes. They work great in my Keurig. I take them to work and use them in Keurig at work. Pros: #1 - They are MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE per capsule than regular K-Cups. If you're a caffeine addict like me, you'll save a lot of money. #2 - Packaging - They come in compostable packaging. #3 - Capsules are biodegradable. In all honesty, when you mindlessly consume ordinary…
