Decent pump for the money.

not a bad pump although the plastic is a little flimsy. No leakage problems after 2 months of use; I train 2 teams and use this pump about 10 times a week for my players. I was a little skeptical about the quality of the sensor, but I'm glad it's accurate, albeit with a small display.

  • handy thing

Amazing product just doesn't last long

I am currently a volleyball umpire and needed a much better ball pump/sensor than the one in my kit. It was wonderful! The gauge was easy to read and pumped air quickly, the only downside is the plastic broke around the needle so the need arises when you try to pull it out and more air comes out. Get ready to buy more, thanks :)

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Expensive

Almost Perfect Pump 4/5 Star

Everything about this pump is great from the pressure relief to the extra needles. The downside is that there is no safe storage space on this pump. You need to find a creative solution to avoid losing, bending or breaking them. The pressure gauge works great. If you are over pressurized, simply hold the release valve in for a moment until you regain the desired pressure.

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • New Competition

Works well but could be improved

In concept it seemed like a great product. In practice, there are several areas that can be improved. I really like the built in pressure gauge, but the needle tends to slip out of the pump when you take it out of what you're pumping. Storing spare needles in the handle makes the pump virtually unusable. I would recommend getting a hand pump that has the needle attached to a flexible hose.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Slightly torn

loved so far. Best Fitness Equipment

Great little pump. I'm a soccer coach and end up pumping between 2 and 4 balls in every practice except the first of the season when I pump around 12 balls. Proper inflation is more important than most people think. If it's too soft, the ball won't show any power. If it's too hard, the ball will hurt the kids and still won't show good strength. This pump has a good sensor to get the ball where you want it to be. It's a good design, nice compact size, easy to read gauge, fairly comfortable grip…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Works well but reading is inaccurate

This ball pump is well built and easy to use, but it has a few design flaws that keep it from earning five star status. The needle pops out first. at an angle to the handle/pump body. Presumably this serves to be able to read the manometer better when filling the balloon. However, this makes it difficult to store and transport the pump, as it cannot be thrown into a sports bag without a support on the side. And because there's no built-in storage, you can't remove the needle. Second, it's…

The pump works, but my previous Bend-it pump was a better design.

I have a Bend-it pump that has lasted 15 years. Bought from Kmart. However, I recently lost the screw on the cap and the rubber piece that holds the needle. Loved this pump but looks like they no longer sell it. After a long search, it turned out that the Franklin pump is almost identical to the old Bend-it pump. Suggests Franklin bought the rights to this pump. In any case, the photos give the impression that this Franklin pump was almost identical to the pump head with changes to the pump…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
