Tested on 3/4 Oak, A+

3/4 Oak was installed in two bedrooms with this gun. There were two glitches that were quickly fixed. I think both were my fault as they both happened within a nail or two of rebooting. I would recommend that you ensure that any incomplete strips are cleared before reloading. Complete the strip and paste the remaining strip last so you can check alignment. Furnished. All I had to do was apply a few drops of oil, load the nails and hook up the canal. I started at 110psi and worked it down to 90โ€ฆ

Only 4 nails shot and broken off. There are no spare parts!

Delivery was fast. The customer's response on the phone was prompt. Unfortunately I bought this gun but did not use it before the 90 day warranty expired. The striker broke and wasn't long enough to push the nail through. I only took off about 4 nails before it broke. About 100 square meters of floor. There is no relapse! Also, there are two spots that align with the edge of the board. When centered on the weight and fully leveled, nails are driven directly into the floor surface. You have toโ€ฆ

In general it worked fine. However

In general everything worked fine. However, the nail puller has "2 stops" built in to hold it against the board before you drive the nail in. From time to time, if I wasn't very careful, he would find the wrong stop and drive a nail into the front (finished) surface of the board instead of the tongue of the board and wreck the board. Bad design! Also, it doesn't drive T-nails all the time (it should work with T-nails, L-nails, and staples). It doesn't pinch, but sometimes it just doesn't serveโ€ฆ

  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • Large and bulky
