I ordered it for my son who is a size 7. I sent it with my sister to give to my four year old grandson as a size 4 fits him. It's short and wide.

My son has a small bump and these shirts are loose enough in the middle not to look too tight. I'm happy with them. This was shipped directly to my grandson, who is 12, and his mother said he liked it and that it fit him fine..

Shrinkage after first wash is two sizes smaller. Although I bought because it was 100% cotton, the fabric "should" have been pre-shrunk!

I ordered two of these shirts in size (8) (one black and one white) and one red in size (10/12). White size 8 and black size 8 are two completely different sizes. The black shirt is a few centimeters shorter than the white shirt, both on the arms and on the upper body. He's a lot closer to a size 6 than an 8.
