Bought these for my 5 year old son's uniform. He is 46 inches and 49 pounds. I usually buy him a 6 or 7 at Carter's, but these 5 sizes are roomy for him. He says they are comfortable. If you're like me here, you probably buy these pants as part of your school uniform. In the last two years I have bought about 10 of these pants for my son's school uniform. They fit well but don't last well. My 5 year old picks them up pretty quickly and they always end up with worn out knees. If your child is a bit older and less rough at play, they will work.
