French Tricot Fusible Interfacing Weight Review

This lightweight knit interlining is just what I need to turn a t-shirt into a quilt. It stabilizes the fabric of the t-shirt and prevents it from stretching when I sew the pieces into a quilt without adding weight. Often, due to their size, t-shirt quilts are large and heavy. This interface, although light, is ideal because it provides excellent stabilization.

This is a fantastically light melting pad. It's 58 inches wide, which makes it economical when you need a lot. I was able to use it to stabilize the t-shirts on my quilt. That's the ideal weight. The t-shirts retain their softness but do not stretch or twist when sewn. I used a cutter and was able to cut through several layers at the same time. This material sticks easily when applied with a damp cloth and an iron at medium temperature. I am very happy with the results.
