The three parts of the legs are not even trimmed to fit snugly against the main trunk. .but hey, it doesn't matter because the screws you get aren't even long enough to screw them on. STRENGTH: This is a lightweight stand that won't last long if you use it for multiple medium to heavy shifts. The weak link is how the legs are attached. They slide in a dovetail like grooves. I bought this hanger a few months ago to keep my coat close to my front door at home. This hanger has served me well, but there are three reasons I would not recommend purchasing this hanger. 1) Poor quality wood. My hanger has a few spots where the wood has been visibly sanded before finishing. 2) It comes in several parts. Wood as in the photo, very nice. The shaft is assembled by connecting three segments and three legs need to be attached to the bottom segment. Here's the catch. Each leg is believed to be connected to the bottom bar by two connections: 1. a screw on the underside that goes into the bar, and 2. a dowel that goes into a pre-drilled hole on the bar.
