Fresh Kitty Foam Litter Mat Review

The material on this item is very different from any other rug I have used. I've tried everything from carpet scraps to pawprint felt that you can find at major department stores. Debris collects on top of these materials and I have to step on them with my bare feet to pick up the box. This mat is good to place under the tray and keeps dirt out. My cat burped on it and it didn't leak which I found to be a bonus. Put it in the sun for a day to smooth wrinkles. I've had this mat for a few weeks now. Our litter box is in our lowest room. We live in a four story house and we have three cats. Very much. We vacuum the house daily due to a combination of cats and allergies. But a cat blanket will help reduce the mess in the trash and will make a noticeable dent in the trash throughout the home. Only used one day and it makes a big difference! It is made of soft rubberized material, has grooves and small "holes” in the grooves (there is a thin transparent layer with a lining on the underside) so the dirt does not fall through the mat, but stays in the grooves where you take the Mat and shake it over the box or wherever you want to get the excess.
