Description of ⚡️ Freud DHS16SEL Bi-Metal Electric Component

Variable tooth design delivers faster and easier boring. Snap-lock plus system enables a quick change for entire range. 2-3/8-inch vs. 1-5/8-inch cutting depth for one pass and increased productivity. One mandrel (arbor) fits all Diablo hole saws from 9/16-inch to 6-inch diameter.

Core saws and accessories at an affordable price

I found this system to work very well compared to the old style. The only downside is that replacement blades seem expensive.

Pros
  • 2-3/8" instead of 1-5/8" depth of cut per pass and increased productivity
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Love this idea.: Power and hand tools

I bought a Diablo hole saw, mind you it was a carbide version which is much stronger than bi-metal. This set includes. The body should be a bit larger given the fixed nipples and there should be a hard metal version.

Pros
  • Snap-on plus system allows for quick changes across the range
Cons
  • Crumpled

Cool concept but the product has issues.

The product was only used for a few days and was sent back. The concept of all quick release skewers is a great idea, but I've found many problems applying it. I pre-drilled the pilot holes with a 1/4" hammer drill to avoid breaking the rail, but in the hole saw the included holes are slightly larger than 1/4" and eventually broke the rail. Bits that usually take months. Also, two days later, one of the quick release bolts broke and the ball joints fell out. I work as an electrical contractor…

Pros
  • Variable tooth design for faster and easier boring.
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared.
