good clean cut suitable for router parts and accessories

that made a nice clean cut without sticking. Cutters I've used in the past have always produced a bit of smoke when used. this one didn't. I would recommend Freud Cutter anytime. I have a lot of these and they always work great. I drilled a pilot hole for the router so I didn't have to cut in to start the hole.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • some little things

Freud cutter top

Maybe there are other good cutters. I was happy with Freud, so I don't have a good comparison. Freud's phrases always worked for me. I'm a carpenter and I don't work enough to load my tools. This drill bit cuts a very nice little keyhole. He made a good plunge cut, then a slit. happy customer Product as advertised.

Pros
  • While satisfied
Cons
  • I'll write later

Great bit for the price

Of all the keyhole bits in this price range, this is one of the best. Like most keyhole bits, it doesn't have very good downward cutting ability. Don't get me wrong, this will cut the first hole, but you have to do it slowly and then you have to let it cool down a bit before cutting another hole. To maximize this I bought the same Forstner bit (only about $5 or $6 at Revain) to drill the holes and then used this keyhole bit to make the slot. This way I can make one hole at a time and my club…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not automatic
