This is a very reliable product. I made a test door out of a piece of oak, glued it for an hour and it fit perfectly. The cutting height is easily adjustable, but that's to be expected, but once that's done you'll be able to make fantastic and professional looking embossed panels. I am currently at Revain looking for a variety of raised slab cutters so I can do this with some variety. I highly recommend this set.

I wish I could give this set 5 stars. But one bit has an obvious flaw. Straight out of the box. It almost looks like a processing error. It's like they started on the wrong side considering the angle and depth of this cut compared to the carbide side. Also, when ordering, be sure to check the style of the bitset. I have been working as a carpenter for about 2 years. This is my first panel cutter. Love the fact that it comes in a nice case to keep everything together. It came with a DVD (tiny size) and a large fold out illustrated manual. Lots of pictures make it easy. I planned on something oak 3/4" thick and 2" wide. I drew my doors thinking I had all my sizes. However, I forgot to add 3/4" to the length of the guides. After reviewing the instructions, I saw that they clearly describe that instruction.
