Clean Laminate Cutting

I bought this for a job to put new laminate on some countertops. Cuts clean, no chips, no fuss, just straight, even cuts. Can't comment on longevity as it's a fairly small task, but I've had success with Freud in the past.

Pros
  • The unique 41-502 cutting geometry provides an ultra-smooth laminate edge.
Cons
  • No Automatic

This one works! Ideal!

After buying a box full of laminate finish bits that couldn't make a clean cut without scratching the tape I got this guy. He's limp! Nice angle between plate and edge, without cuts and scratches. I also commend the use of Lami-lube which is one of the most slippery substances on the planet. Keeps the trimmer moving and prevents glue from building up on the attachment. Pros
  • Use hand routers, portable bench routers and laminate trimmers to trim plastic laminate
Cons
  • No power

come on buy You will not regret it.

I have a small furniture store and this is the best laminate cutter I have found. Once you set it right, it will make the border almost file-free. I always carry a small Makita router with this attachment so I don't have to spend time configuring it through trial and error every time I want to use it. Definitely pays for itself and delivers a quality finish every time. It saves items and prolongs the life of the bit if you use the flush cutter to trim the bulk first and then use it to finish…
