Edge Damage: Router Parts and Accessories

This cuts the formica really well, but having to run the edge of the guide along an already placed formica will damage the edges. You must use a bit that has a bearing at the end to prevent this.

Worked fairly well on cutter parts and accessories

I used this nozzle to cut laminate floors today and it worked pretty well. I like that there are no camps. One reviewer noted that the "bearing" surface can damage the laminate. First I glued and cut the sides, then glued the top laminate. Before cutting off the top I rubbed the sides with some golf wax to act as a lube/protector and didn't get any damage. Would buy this beat again.

Works great on laminated worktops

I used these to trim the top laminated surface of a new worktop. I used a "regular" 3 tooth carbide cutter with a bearing to trim the front and sides because I didn't want the edges to be cut at the 7° angle this cutter makes. However, for trimming the top, it worked great in a pass that was moving fairly quickly. As others have pointed out, you probably do NOT want to move too slowly or you could burn the work where it rubs against the other's face. Some people use soap to help but I don't see
