160 mm blade; 48 teeth; 20 mm arbor; 2-degree hook angle; .087 in. kerf; .063 in. plate. Freud's TiCo carbide blade is designed using titanium carbide, cobalt and tungsten. High alternative top bevel tooth design produces smooth, splinter-free cuts. Laser-cut anti-vibration slots reduce vibration and sideways movement, resulting in a smooth finish and extended blade life. Perma-shield nonstick coating reduces drag, corrosion and pitch build-up.

As expected mirror-smooth cross-sections.

I've had great success with other Freud blades, both from the industrial line and the more affordable Diablo line. I decided to complete my knife collection with an extra thin cross cutting blade. Smoothest Cut Ever

I bought this blade a few days ago. I make furniture from oak and birch plywood. Plywood thickness from 1/8" to 3/4". I need a blade that won't chip or splinter. the blade I ever had. I have Milwaukee, Irwin, Black and Decker, Disston and other joy saws. This Freud LU79R cuts much smoother than any other I've tried. I've tried the blade on some 2x4 and 2x6 pines. Perfect cuts on melamine laminate shelves

I had to cut some corner shelves for RTA melamine shelves to fit in a custom corner between other installed shelves. I'm a relative newbie to working with melamine laminate and wanted to make sure there weren't any cracks or chips.
