Okay I bought these for my salt lamps and within 3 days I have 6 of them in a 3 day 24 hour stay consumed. So it looks like there are a lot of defects in this box that will quickly burn through or not work at all. It's not good, but I think it has to do with the price. I won't buy them again. DO NOT BUY! They don't just explode or fail within days of installation, they can emit hot smoke that way. I had to unplug the lamp to remove the lamp I had put in the day before because I was afraid of an explosion or electric shock. It didn't burn, it burned. It still emitted light, but it was black and smoking. I've never seen anything like this. It was really scary.

What I liked about these lamps is that they saved my ass. I have a Broan hood. One of the lightbulbs burned out. It's a patented lightbulb, so Broan charges an exorbitant amount of money to replace it. I couldn't pay it. The 25 watt bulb that came with my salt lamp lasted about a year. (This is how my lamp worked for a year at Christmas).
