Frigidaire 154669101 Dishwasher Door Spring Review

Even after replacing both sides, the springs are so weak that the door still slams without assistance. Won't buy this again!

Spring not strong enough to prevent the door from falling off quickly, a door spring had to be added to support the new weak spring. I had to get the original nib out of the fridge

This sprint is very weak. Your co-op from sources even close to OEM. I installed it and after 3 days the dishwasher door went down almost as fast as without a spring.

Like the others previously mentioned, these springs are WEAK! I think they are used. They're just as bad as my old ones. Do not buy from this seller. I give them an F-!

This spring is NOT an original spare part. The package was labeled "Nutone". The springs are much smaller and barely support the dishwasher door.

The springs do not support the weight of this dishwasher door in any way. Installed right where the other two originals were and they stretched and the ends of the hooks bent. Probably even to return them now it is impossible. I tried using them with old broken feathers to make them stronger. The view works but is very noisy, like opening a roof hatch. Very disappointed that he went by the name Frigidaire.

This is a non-genuine part. It's too flimsy to hold the door up, and little better than no springs at all. I'm guessing this spring has about 1 pound of tension when you need 6-8 pounds of tension to safely operate the dishwasher door. The use of this spring will cause unnecessary wear on the door hinges, which will fail due to the increased workload and eventually leak water. Save time and money and buy a better spring.
