Front Hydraulic Master Cylinder Amhousejoy Review

Overall it fits my 1986 CB550 well and works well, comes with some spares for minor repairs. It took a while for the whole system to pressurize but that could be due to not installing/building my braking system correctly. Doesn't appear to be leaking, cheaper than repairing my old cylinder.

Fits perfectly on my 2002 Buell Blast, this is an exact replica of the original. Excellent quality. Apply in 5 minutes. Be sure to bleed the caliper and then bleed the banjo bolt on the handlebar, it will harden immediately. Otherwise your bleeding is forever and it will still be spongy. The kit did not include a spare piston. It was worth it even without him.

Bought this master cylinder to replace my 2011 Royal Enfield 500. It works great and is easy to install. It comes with a recovery kit, which you'll most likely never need, but it's always nice to have spares. The tank was slightly larger than the stock tank and the lever was slightly different, but other motorcycle enthusiasts didn't notice.

Shipping was fast, can't compare to Prime. Appears to be a quality product. Unfortunately it doesn't work for my application. This master cylinder with 14 mm bore is not suitable for double disc drives. It just doesn't have enough fluid to fully apply the front brakes on my 1982 Kawasaki KZ750 LTD with dual front disc brakes. I had to order a new 16mm diameter master cylinder.

Great deal and I'm even considering a higher price. Sometimes a slightly cheap looking product can be of shocking quality and this would be one of them. I used it on my '81 Yamaha 750 Virago, it's a single disc front brake and it feels pretty standard when it comes to touring. I could see it not working on a dual disc or dual caliper bike, but overall I'm impressed. Also, the shuttle and seals you see in the picture do not mean it's a build project, it's a replacement part.
