Frost King P1025/6W Polyethylene Sheeting - 10 ft x 25 ft x 6 mil - Clear: Versatile and Durable Protection Review

This is my second roll. I surround my patio until a contractor rebuilds it. It's strong and durable. The photo on the left is what I bought last week! Well it's a joke. I paid my handyman $87.50 to line my patio with this horrible milky plastic that you can't see through. Now I'm stuck with it. Now I'm calling Revain. The photo on the right is what I bought last year. I was very happy with it and it was almost clear. Why do sellers have to be so dishonest?

This tarp is smooth, strong and heavy. It's big and can cover many things. It has a strong smell. I wanted to use it as a room divider but the tape couldn't hold it. It was too heavy and the slick material has a waxy non-stick finish. Screen protector for countertops, upholstery fabric etc. I have a huge amount left and am thinking of using it for a fish pond. I'll tell you about it later! CONS: The material was milky white, opaque. Did I mention it gives off a strong odor?

So far, so good. Thickness is good and feels stiff. 3 star rating for 2 main reasons. 1) The title says it's a transparent plastic, as you can see from my photo it's not even remotely transparent. Clear enough I think for my greenhouse but not as clear as I expected. 2) They claim it's 10 feet wide. I bought this 6 mil thick plastic sheeting to cover a 6 x 14 foot area of a deck that had new wood that I didn't have time to paint. I carefully cut this size from a 10' x 25' roll, place on a clean surface and do not step on it. A week after the installation it started raining on the terrace.
