These are my favorite brush pens. As a left-hander, I found the Tombow Dual-Brush pens a little more difficult for me to control as I had to flip the paper. But if you're a beginner, it's worth every penny spent!

Good small brush tip for small modern calligraphy and suitable for beginners as the tip is not very flexible it helps to deal with the shaking experienced by newcomers to modern calligraphy . The only downside I would say is that the colors aren't as vivid as I would have hoped compared to, say, Pentel Sign pens. But still a nice set of primary colors

These brush pens are adorable. Hard nibs allow for finer strokes when writing calligraphy, which I love! Ink doesn't flow profusely compared to the Pentel, but that doesn't bother me because it doesn't flow much, if at all, on a variety of paper types. Colors are also brighter and more muted - not quite as vibrant compared to the Pentel, but still fun to look at. All in all, great pens for practicing calligraphy and handwriting!

I'm a big Tombow fan and this set didn't disappoint. Tombow solid nibs are by far my favorite handwriting pen. They enable precise, fine writing while maintaining the overall look of a larger pen with a softer tip. My only complaint, which seems to be fairly common here, is that the colors aren't very vivid. While they still make very nice strokes, the colors aren't as rich as my Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pens. I had no problem drying out any of them. Again, please ignore the one-star rating. These
