I have been using Fuji X-System cameras and lenses for a number of years. I was hoping that the XP140 would translate some of the X vibe into a 'rugged' camera that I could take with me on my diving vacation. Unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations and I wouldn't recommend this camera to anyone who cares about image quality. The image quality is hardly acceptable in good light in the wide angle, but quickly decreases when zooming in. Forget indoor use. , even with flash. The dynamic…

Bought this camera for a trip to Maine and carried it on a cotton cord the whole time - everywhere. It's bright enough that I don't notice and turns on quickly enough for me to photograph birds that have landed nearby before they notice us and take off again. Bonus points for separate video and photo capture buttons! Great for quick video capture without having to go into settings! I'm a complete novice photographer - this is my first camera that can't make phone calls - but even I was able to…

My use case for the XP140 is when I don't want to use an X-E3/T3 or iPhone XS (edit: 11 pro now). It's cheap enough that dropping it in a lake compared to a phone won't break my heart. I was curious to see how the XP140 compares to the iPhone in terms of image quality. I would say they are comparable, a slight advantage over the iPhone. The XP140 makes a little more noise, but it's barely noticeable. There seems to be some delay before the XP140 stops exposing. I like the off-camera color…

Hoping for the best, but it's really good.

First of all I have to say that I can't be too harsh on the product because of the price. I knew it wouldn't blow my mind for the price, my Note 8 produces much higher quality images. The main reason I bought this camera is to use it in a kayak. Nothing is more daunting than lugging around my pro DSLR and lenses. with me in the kayak, those days are over and I'm no longer afraid of splashing water on my camera. I don't take quality pictures kayaking, good pictures are all I'm looking for and I…
